Miami (Days 1, 8)

South Florida's exciting, international city is much more than the gateway to Latin America. It's one of the world's most popular vacation destinations. With it's world-renowned beaches, unrivaled nightlife, unique culinary experiences and Latin flavor, this is one place you'll want to check out. Before departing from Miami, enjoy a tour that will highlight this exciting city.
Attractions & Activities
Miami is known for its amazing attractions. While you should definitely schedule a day for beach relaxation, you should also be sure to plan ahead to check out the broader tourism scene. Just imagine, in one day you could catch some early morning sun at the beach, then head down the Everglades and visit a real working alligator farm where 2,000 alligators of all sizes live in natural settings at Everglades Alligator Farm. Not into giant native reptiles? The options are endless. Maybe you're thinking something more like a tour of a mansion with more than two thousand years of lifestyle artifacts? Well, you're in luck because we have that too at Vizcaya Museum & Gardens on Biscayne Bay. Vizcaya Museum & Gardens is the estate of James Deering, built in 1916, a sprawling formal garden and a stunning estate that's open to the public, has been the backdrop to many a film and photo shoot and continues to delight with its' timeless beauty. The examples of what you could to fill a day in Miami go on and on. A classic attraction is Zoo Miami. Kids and parents, animal lovers and educators can't resist the charm of a day at the zoo - and with a zoo like this, why would you? Flamingos, komodo dragons, meerkats, monkeys, rhinos of all kinds, lions, tigers and bears - oh my! - are all on exhibit at this world-class zoo. At Zoo Miami you'll take a trip around the world without ever leaving Miami. The zoo is divided into parts of the world: Africa, Asia, Australia and Future Tropical Americas. If you could spend all day at the zoo watching the monkeys jump around there's an attraction just for you: Monkey Jungle "where humans are in cages and monkeys run wild!" Located in South Dade Monkey Jungle is a 30 acre reserve where nearly 400 primates run and rove at their leisure. Monkey Jungle is part of a world-wide effort to save monkeys close to extinction and protect them within comfortable and familiar environments.

Puerto Plata (Day 3)

One of the most interesting cities in the Dominican Republic, located on the north coast. It's an area of high-priced, luxury resorts, and casinos and home to the Tourist Bazaar. Check out the unique amber jewelry. After shopping, go to the beach. There's over 70 beautiful miles to make into your personal sandbox.

San Juan (Day 4)

One of the largest islands in the Eastern Caribbean, Puerto Rico's landscape encompasses mountains, underground caves, coral reefs, white-sand beaches and an incredibly massive rain forest that supplies fresh water to most of the island. At the same time San Juan, the capital of the commonwealth, is a big city with a bustling business district, glitzy resorts and casinos, as well as one of the most stunning examples of colonial life in the Western world.
Attractions & Activities
When you're in San Juan, don't miss the opportunity to witness the pinnacle of natural beauty by exploring Puerto Rico's El Yunque Rain Forest. It features more than 240 species of trees, hundreds of miniature orchids, and what was once believed to be the Fountain of Youth.

Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve (Day 7)

Ocean Cay is MSC Cruises' private island in the Bahamas. Two miles of white sand beach spread over seven distinct beach areas, ranging from more relaxing zones to active places with beach games and water sports. Sun beds will be available on all beaches, and some beaches will offer cabanas that can be rented for the day. The Great Lagoon’s shallow crystal-clear water is perfect for protected swimming and water sports, while the smaller family lagoon is designed for younger guests to enjoy, offering very shallow, calm water and plenty of games. At over half a mile long, the Great Bimini Beach is the largest stretch of beach on the island, as well as the place to go to enjoy a variety of water sports. In terms of excursions, guests will be able to discover the waters around the island through snorkel safaris, kayak tours and paddle boarding. The Family Explorer club will also offer fun activities for the entire family. For those looking for a special experience, Ocean Cay guests are able to privately rent a smaller island close to the main body of land for the day, which will include: a private boat that will take the group to the island and remain at their disposal; and a marquee, sun beds and loungers and food and drinks. Near the island is an old shipwreck, making it a good spot for snorkeling. In addition to the excursions, guests can participate in a wide range of entertainment activities, including sports games and tournaments, dance lessons as well activities for the entire family.
Attractions & Activities
One of the key highlights of Ocean Cay is that the ship will remain in port into the evening, since the island is located just 65 miles south of Miami, allowing for a range of evening experiences. Once the sun goes down guests can enjoy night time activities, such as stargazing on the beach or romantic sunset catamaran tours, to bring the day to a very special close. The entertainment on the island will focus around its Lighthouse with breathtaking sunsets and with live music or DJs and a surprising visual experience that will further enhance the atmosphere. As part of the commitment to ensure that the island is sustainable and to minimize waste, there is a select number of dining options on Ocean Cay. The ship will also be fully operational while docked at the island, and the furthest point from the ship is only a 20-minute walk. There will also be an electric carts service available to transport guests around the island.
